Membership

Membership of the Association is open to anyone with an interest in honey. You don’t have to keep bees!

Some of the advantages of membership of the York & District Beekeeping Association are:

	Advice and assistance when beginning to keep your bees
	Classes in beekeeping for beginners and the more knowledgeable
	Winter meetings with speakers on a wide variety of beekeeping subject
	Free advice and hands-on help from experienced beekeepers
	Combings – the Association’s quarterly newsletter
	Outdoor meetings and demonstrations
	Visits to members’ apiaries
	Social and family events and visits to places of interest

and last, but by no means least, the convivial company of fellow beekeepers offering an opportunity to swap experiences, ideas and the inevitable tall story!
